What’s All this Buzz About? Join us to discover and celebrate honey bees, beekeeping and what makes them so special. This annual family event presented by the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory is FREE and includes hands-on educational activities for children and a chance to explore the Tropical, Mediterranean and Desert Rooms.

Learn and Grow Talks ALL have been CANCELLED
The Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory Master Gardeners will highlight plants that will be available at our Annual Plant Sale. Come learn about them, how to use them, and how to successfully grow them!
All lectures Thursdays at 7 PM at the Conservatory.

NEW for 2020: Plant Sale All Online
For over thirty years, FOPCON volunteers and the Park District of Oak Park have joined together to provide the community with the very best in plants for our gardens. From the first “Herb and Scented Plant Sale” in 1989 until today, this sale has provided carefully grown plants while raising funds in support of our historic Conservatory.
Due to current concerns related to the Coronavirus, we will not be hosting an in-person sale this year. All customers should order online and select a pick-up window: orders will be pulled and ready to be delivered to cars at that time.
Spring Perennial, Houseplant and Garden Tool Exchange
Saturday, May 16 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Join other gardeners and share your favorite perennials, houseplants and extra garden tools at the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory sponsored annual Spring Exchange. Drop off materials from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Conservatory. Come back to pick up your selection from noon – 12:30 p.m.
Uncorked at the Oak Park Conservatory
Every Fourth Friday, June through September
June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Enjoy Summer at the Conservatory with music, wine and craft beer and appetizers on the fourth Fridays. Our vendors are local. We also feature an artisan offering their wares and we provide showcase tours. Admission includes two drink tickets and one food token. Uncorked is always a big hit!

Garden Walk – 27th Annual!

Enjoy an exciting self-guided tour of nine unique private gardens and one public garden in Oak Park and River Forest. Tickets go on sale May 1 online at www.gcoprf.org and June 1 on-site at the Oak Park Conservatory (cash or check only).
This is a joint venture of the Garden Club of Oak Park River Forest and the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory and benefits the missions of both groups.
