DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory Master Gardeners will highlight plants that will be available at our Annual Plant Sale. Come learn with us — programs are for all gardening levels. Registration is required for these free virtual programs. A Zoom link will be sent to participants in advance.  FREE \nApril 6\, 7-8pm – Soil Basics \nJoin the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory to learn about how to prepare your garden beds for the growing season. The focus will be on edible gardening\, the basics of healthy soil\, how to soil test and what to do with the results.  Register HERE. \nApril 13\, 7-8pm – Small Space Gardening \nJoin us when the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory offers expert tips on growing in small spaces. Learn about using containers and raised beds along with vertical growing to maximize your space.  Register HERE. \nApril 20\, 7-8pm – Companion Planting with Vegetables \nJoin the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory to learn about the many benefits of companion planting. Combining edibles and annuals can create a healthier environment\, attract pollinators\, add beauty and texture and prevent unwanted critters. Register HERE. \n
