DESCRIPTION:Prepare for an exciting self-guided tour of eight unique private gardens plus a public space.  The Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory and The Garden Club of Oak Park and River Forest are happy to co-sponsors the 26th Annual Garden Walk on Sunday\, June 23 – rain or shine.   Once again a “plein air” artist will be demonstrating their amazing creativity.  Transportation is needed and  bicycles are a good option.    \n Purchase tickets at this website\, www.gcoprf.org.  Or purchase tickets in person at the Oak Park Conservatory (cash/check only) . \nPrior to the event tickets are $15.  FOPCON Members receive a $2 discount for each ticket.  The number of tickets is based on your Membership Level.  Interested in becoming a Member?  Join today!  \nDay of tickets (regardless of membership) will be $20 and may be purchased at either the Cheney Mansion (220 N. Euclid\, Oak Park) OR the Oak Park Conservatory (815 Garfield Street\, Oak Park).  \nTickets or Paypal receipts must be exchanged for your Garden Guide booklets\, which will serve as your entry to the gardens. Garden Guide booklets will be available from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cheney Mansion (220 N. Euclid\, Oak Park) or the Oak Park Conservatory. The Garden Guides include a map and a description of each garden. \nA Fundraiser Drawing will be held at 4:00 pm at a designated garden. See the Garden Guide booklet for the specific garden location. Winner need not be present. Possible prizes may include ($100 value) a wine basket with two tickets to an “Uncorked” event at the Oak Park Conservatory\, a Summer succulent wreath and a Fall focused wreath for your door and a gift certificate from Garland Flowers.  Drawing tickets are $5 or $20 for five tickets. Purchase drawing tickets on the day of the Garden Walk at The Oak Park Conservatory\, the Cheney Mansion or the drawing location garden\, as shown in the Garden Guide booklet. \nPlease join us and support the Friends!
