This guided tour is an interactive and sensory-driven learning experience. It is specially designed for individuals 18 and older with special needs such as delayed development, learning disabilities, and special education needs.
The plant-focused tour uses visual prompting, introduces the scientific concepts, and invites active participation through multi-sensory, interactive, and hands-on learning techniques.
Docent-led tours of the Conservatory, about an hour in length, are offered Tuesdays – Fridays, based on availability. Contact our Volunteer and Program/Events Coordinator for more information.
Please note: Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the desired tour date.
Tours cost $5/adult (18+ yrs), $3/senior (65+ yrs) with a minimum of $20 per tour.
