When asked why a visit to the Conservatory is important, Dawn shared, “There is a whole world that kids experience at the Conservatory, they may not experience at their own homes. You don’t always get to see parrots, fish, cactus plants, and the ponderosa lemon tree. So they learn something while having this experience in a really beautiful, really calming place.”
“I love working with plants. I love to weed and clean up and make the garden look nice, like I do at my own house. I have enjoyed getting to know a lot of new people in the Conservatory.”
