Beyond Our Gardens: FOPCON’s Membership at Scottsdale’s Desert Botanical Garden

We moved from Chicago to Scottsdale, AZ two and a half years ago. As members of the Oak Park Conservatory, we were happy to learn we had reciprocity at the Desert Botanical Garden in Scottsdale. We have visited numerous times, especially when we have friends in town. It’s a great way to learn about the desert landscape. The Garden has exhibits which we also have gone to see. Most recently we went to see Light Bloom which was beautiful, and it was fun to walk the Garden under the evening desert sky. But what truly makes us happy is that while enjoying the beauty of our new home we can continue to support and have a tie to our old one.
