We are putting out a call for volunteers to help at the Oak Park Conservatory. Our early childhood education programs are free to the community and are very popular with families throughout the year. If you enjoy engaging with parents, caregivers, and children please join our volunteer team.
We are also expanding our bilingual programs! Do you speak Spanish and have an interest in reading to families for Bilingual Storytime? We also offer tours to students in Spanish and can use more docents to reach our Spanish-speaking community. Help us grow these vital programs.
New volunteers need to sign up to volunteer, have an interview with our Volunteer Program Coordinator, and pass a required background check. You can learn more about our volunteer program HERE.
The Friends work in partnership with the Park District-owned Oak Park Conservatory and their staff providing volunteers for a variety of jobs. Most of our opportunities are in the early mornings and afternoons Tues-Fri. We have some special events on evenings and weekends as well.
