Discover the Truth about Native Plants
We welcome Freyja Kendrick from DigRightIn Landscaping to our member lecture. Freyja has a degree in horticulture and is a member of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA). Her speaking engagements have included the Chicago Flower & Garden Show, Go Green La Grange and the Brookfield Public Library. Her designs have been featured on the Greenbuilt Home Tour as part of the US Green Building Council-Illinois.
Freyja’s lecture on ‘The Truth About Native Plants’ will educate you on the importance of incorporating native plants into our landscapes from a designer’s perspective to benefit wildlife. We will learn practical tips and suggestions that anyone can do today, including plant selection and placement to restore wildlife one yard at at time.
