Discover How to Put Your Garden to Bed is our lecture on Sunday, October 21 from 2 – 3 pm.
Big or small, all gardens need tending in the Fall. We are happy to have Ellen Kuner as our lecturer. Ellen is a Master Gardener, long-time member friend of FOPCON and was president for four years. She has been a volunteer for 27 years at the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust where in addition to giving tours, Ellen heads up WeedWrights – they pull up Mr. Wright’s weeds. Ellen’s lecture will educate you on a whole bunch of ‘Whats’ for the end of the gardening season:
· What to pull up
· What to cut down
· What to leave alone
· What to prune
· What to cover up
· What to do with all those leaves
Light refreshments will be served.
