FOPCON’s Annual Appeal is in full swing. All contributions help us continue our mission to provide educational and recreational programs and to support projects that benefit the Conservatory. Just last year we added the Discovery Garden Exploration Time (DGET) program which runs March – October, weather permitting on Wednesdays and Saturdays plus we agreed to provide $100,000 to pay for half the cost of replacing the old heating pipes in the Conservatory. Happily the pipe project came in under budget — our portion is $60, 987, but still a large sum. Next year we plan to revise our school tour programs to mirror District 97’s science curriculum and more.
