We are making it easier to access your benefits and card information on the go, with our new digital membership cards. You will receive an email with your membership details and a link to download your digital card, which you can save to your phone.
Current members may follow the instructions below to access their digital card. For questions check out our FAQ section, or email operations@fopon.org.
1. Using your phone, find your digital membership information in your email.
2. From your phone, click the link in the email & add your details.
You can also tap or click here to download your card. Enter your membership ID, and last name.
Enter your name exactly as it appears on your membership account. Do not use commas, or spaces. For example: last name is “Smith Brown”, enter your last name in the field as “SmithBrown”.
3. Save you card to your digital Wallet.
On Android: Tap “View in Google Wallet”. Then, tap the lower right corner and hit “Add”.
4. Access it anytime.
Once you have added your digital membership card to your digital wallet, you can find it in the same place you keep boarding passes or other tickets.
To access additional information, click or tap the top right corner with the three dots. You will find your pass details and benefit information.
We’re happy to help! If you prefer in-person assistance, we offer office hours where a staff member can walk you through the process and help you access your card on your device.
Visit us at The Oak Park Conservatory during our support hours: Tuesday – Thursday, from 10am to 2pm.
No appointment needed, just stop by!
The Friends have switched to paperless membership cards. In some circumstances, we will continue to offer printed membership cards. You do not need to print your own card. Simply email us at operations@fopcon.org with your request, and we will send you a printed card.
Your digital membership card displays your name, membership level and expiration date. Simply show your digital card when shopping with our partners, or at any institution that accepts AHS reciprocal benefits.
Both names will show up on the digital card. The link and information to download the card can be used on two devices.
Digital membership cards display the reciprocal logo and list participation in the reciprocal programs as a benefit of the membership level. Simply show your digital membership card at participating institutions to receive free or reduced admission.
We currently offer reciprocal benefits with the AHS network. To access the full list of institutions that accept your reciprocal membership click here.
Note that some gardens use the local visitor exception, and won’t grant reciprocity for members of institutions that are located within a 90 mile radius. This is the case of Morton Arboretum, and the Anderson Japanese Gardens.
We recommend visiting the garden’s website, or call before you visit, to ensure a smooth process.
Just email us at operations@fopcon.org with the correct information and we’ll get it updated.
If your digital card doesn’t reflect recent changes within 2-3 business days, delete the card from your wallet, and follow the instructions to download again.
