We are seeking people who are interested in becoming trained as tour docents at the Oak Park Conservatory. Docent-led tours of the Conservatory offer an in-depth perspective of the plant collection and the historic property. We offer tours for adults and children and have begun to offer tours in Spanish as well. You can learn more about our tour program HERE.
On Tuesday, April 9 from 11 am – 12 noon, we are hosting a Tour Docent Training Session. Refreshments will be served. Please sign up HERE if you would like to participate. If you are unable to attend this session but are interested in becoming a tour docent, please contact Amy Lavery, our Program and Volunteer Coordinator, at [email protected] for more information.
As part of the training, we will guide you through the content for each of our showrooms. You will meet other docents and walk through the Conservatory to learn about the collection. We invite you to join this dedicated team of volunteers.
